When I left the hospital where I worked for 11 years as a Registered Nurse as part of the Inpatient Palliative Care Consult Service, I planned to retire. However, after constant encouragement from family, friends and colleagues, I decided to continue offering the skills I had developed by walking with individuals and their loved ones on their journeys. Thus, Transcending Journeys was born.
My Experience
Jackie Hay, RN, MSN with over four decades of hands-on palliative care experience and expertise leads a team of nurses, physicians, artists, breath workers, sound practitioners, musicians, photographers, videographers, and writers, aimed at supporting individuals with end-of-life care planning and creating legacy stories.
